Looking among the many deviations created in the most underrated galleries gave me inspiration.
Why do we do art?
We do it to express our emotions-- freeze the subconscious for jus a moment in time, whether through a lense or a splatter of a paintbrush.
Art's been more of a competitive field as of late.
Looking through some featured work though, I realize a lot of people do have insane technical skills in their art, but lack a lot of emotion in their art.
We express our inner souls as artists. Or that's our goal. To share all the human and non-human characterisics that are experienced.
The capture of concepts big and small. Perspectives and moments that are once in a lifetime...
I'm very upset to see these feelings disappear from a lot of art. Where is the striving burn to understand or to see in a different way?
When I see the imaginative feelings in a picture, or a concept of yearning I hault for a bit, and my heart stops for just a bit.
I'd like to remind you all, that although we try to enhance our technical abilities as artists, we should never ever forget why we are doing what we love.
And it's the same for writers, and musicians, and any other type of artist.
Put a little love in it, will you?

I guess this is a way of reminding myself too that there is a little girl, and a growing self trapped in me summoning up an imagination that hasn't been as exposed as it could be.

Look around in a few galleries and thank a few amateur artists sometime for reminding us that isn't always about technique, but all about the emotion that filled us with the reason to pursue this passionate business tha not many can understand.
