Looking among the many deviations created in the most underrated galleries gave me inspiration. Why do we do art? We do it to express our emotions-- freeze the subconscious for jus a moment in time, whether through a lense or a splatter of a paintbrush. Art's been more of a competitive field as of late. Looking through some featured work though, I realize a lot of people do have insane technical skills in their art, but lack a lot of emotion in their art. We express our inner souls as artists. Well, I'm sitting here, and the school's digital clock system is declaring it to be 2:12 when it's clearly 9:33 AM. I feel like making a big deal, such as walking out assuming it's too early or going to my 6th hour assuming it's too late, although, well I'd probably just get yelled at. I had just recently bought my first SLR camera, a Canon Rebel XT, and well, I love the resolution and all, but I feel I need to learn more about it and all. My other camera was a very simple digital camera made my Samsung and I had programmed it to function so well that my expectations for the Rebel XT were much too high. Bah, so I have to admit, I'm kind of jealous of a few fashion photographers on dA. Fashion photography/art intrigues me beyond any art form, although, I am in actuality a surreal artist. I'd actually like to be able to start getting into fashion photography... Although I would need models, and well, that's the only downside...finding them. It's just hard posting a bulletin claiming you need models and having to reject your friends simply because they're not the look you're looking for, or they're simply just not photogenic. As a model myself, I know that there are some people who can create a different effect in every picture they are take
